Gizzy has a heart of gold,
A wonderful lady, so I’ve been told,
Amongst her pain; and no one knew,
How much she suffered; and went through.
Wherever she went; she’d light the room,
With her humor and laughter; dispelled the gloom,
There’s no one like, her here you know,
No one can duplicate or replace her glow.
I never had the chance to meet,
This wonderful lady; that’s so sweet,
Her time on earth, was very short,
She is a Champion; in every port.
A True lady and wonderful Queen,
The truest friend; that has ever been,
A terrific Captain; on the bat’s team,
Always there for you; so it would seem.
All who knew her miss her so,
We’re all sad now; to see you go,
She’s now in a heavenly place,
Now she sits; beside his grace.
So rest in peace; our lovely friend,
We’ll always remember you; that won’t end.
You’re on our minds everyday,
Even though; you’re far away.
You touched so many; with your heart,
That won’t leave or ever part,
As your soul; has took its flight,
You’re now our beacon ray of light.
